The risk of loss in trading futures and options can be substantial, therefore only genuine "risk" funds should be used in such trading. Futures and options may not be a suitable investment for all individuals and individuals should carefully consider their financial condition in deciding whether to trade. Option traders should be aware that the exercise of a long option will result in a futures position.

I grew up in rural Maryland in the heart of the Mid Atlantic dairy industry and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Towson State University. I began working in the futures market early in 2007 and became a licensed Broker shortly thereafter. I have worked with veterans of the industry and have seen some exciting and robust markets in my career. Prior to licensing I worked in the Industrial Wholesale, Heavy Equipment, and Building Supply industries where I developed a broad range of knowledge and experience. My clients are primarily farmers and livestock producers who are interested in trading in the futures market, apart from their operations, but do not have time to trade or research the markets for themselves. I like to consider recommended trades that are thoroughly researched that rely on historical and seasonal trends. Additionally, I’ll look for synergies between technical and fundamental elements to each market and opportunities to create defined risk for any individual trade.
